This month we were introduced to our new watering assistant, and he's got plenty of experience!
When Mark was watering the plants he came across a toad among the plants. We use black trays with pot liner to ensure there's plenty of water during the hotter periods, you may have seen them around the nursery. They're a great way to ensure your plants stay hydrated, especially if you don't have enough time to keep them perfectly watered.
We come across a lot of wildlife at the garden centre, with bees and butterflies flocking to the sweet smelling flowers. We even get some moths like the one we saw below!
We don't often get wildlife hiding within the flowers so when a customer told us what he'd seen we were surprised! We'll be keeping an eye out for anymore toads or frogs hiding in the leaves but feel free to come and look for them yourselves and let us know what you find!
