- Bright but indirect sunlight is best as direct sun can scorch the leaves
- Water when the soil feels dry by placing in a bowl of water
- Make sure not to leave in water too long as this can lead to root rot and leaf dropping
- Keep away from windows during cold spells as it prefers slightly warmer conditions
